It’s that time of year in some parts of the world where women everywhere are getting prepared for hitting the beach and getting their surf on. Here in the mid US and Canada we’re getting our bodies prepped for travel. To make that dream a reality and travel to one of those beaches and hit some of those waves we see on the teli and magazines, and be one with nature.
But are our bodies ready to handle the most powerful forces on earth? Surfers everywhere wait for these opportunities all the time. Some go for the ultimate waves, while some enjoy the more gentle surf, body surfing, boogie boarding, or just plain looking good at the beach by a camp fire with their friends and having a wicked time.
If you are any of the above then you are a HONUBELLE kind of gal. If you haven’t heard of Julia Barnes ( owner/designer of Honubelle) yet, are you ever in for a big surprise! If you have heard of her and HONUBELLE, you know what you’re in for. Fantastic swimwear that’s made for the beach babe and surfers alike. It’s made for the every girl who wants to get a tan and feel free on the beach and enjoy the summer sun and have a ton of fun.
Just to tease with a few with of her 2016 swimsuit collection and the different combinations (above) for mixing and matching with one swimsuit. So many variations, so many choices, you’ll have a hard time deciding where to start, which is the biggest dilemma to have, said no one ever!!!
All made in Bali, with material from Italy and designed by the most talented most influential (and sweetest) designer local to Calgary; Julia Barnes’ Honubelle is an on point design and has the “IT” factor you’ve been looking for. With an array of colors and styles to choose from, nothing really measures up to what Julia has to offer.
The above photo shows the back of the Willow top, with it’s multi-strap backing. It lends to a very dynamic look without restriction. Both beauty and function meet with this conceptual design. Brilliantly made and cleverly designed. Photo by Greg Gerla Photography. MUH by Louise Croce at Trends by Louise.
This tiny home based business has grown to immense popularity fast. It’s fan base is cultivating day by day and is doing so by sheer word of mouth and little to no advertising. Yes she has a website, as all good business women should, but really there are no bouncy castles, no air filled giants flapping and bowing in the wind to try to get your attention for these pretty little pieces. The brand and quality speak for themselves. And it’s brand loyal customers are spreading the word. And that makes for any happy designer.
Go Glen Coco go! You go girl! We’ve got your back, and our pocket books ready Honubelle! Where do we sign up?
Julia Barnes and I just hanging around after the shoot looking for a selfie, but our arms were too short for the look we wanted. So thanks to Greg Gerla, our Photographer of the day.
